We charge for all appraisal services. Appraisal services are not refundable once work has commenced. We strive to perform to the highest ethical standards: We don’t agree to do an appraisal report and get paid only if the loan closes. We don’t accept assignments on percentage fees. (This would tend to make an appraiser inflate the value of the home or property in order to get a higher fee.) We take our fiduciary responsibility to our client very seriously in maintaining confidentiality, competency and ethical and professional service.
