The owner and principal appraiser is Alexandra Tavlarides. She has a BS degree in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, and she has earned the SRA designation of the Appraisal Institute. She is a certified residential appraiser in the state of New York and has been appraising residential properties in Central New York since 1986. Alexandra is an FHA approved appraiser since 2000. She is also a licensed Realtor in the State of New York.

SRA designation ( per Appraisal Institute)

SRA stands for Senior Residential Appraiser and is a designation conferred by the Appraisal Institute on members who are experienced in the analysis and valuation of residential property.

Experience requirement:
  • Receive credit for 4,000 hours of experience, including 2,000 hours of residential appraisal experience which must meet strict criteria.
Demonstration Report requirement:
  • Receive credit for a demonstration appraisal report on a residential property. This report must show the ability to present a properly supported opinion of value using the market, cost and income approaches to value.
Continuing Education requirement:
  • Complete 100 hours of continuing education every five year cycle.
